Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Silent Dreamer” by Les Zeppelin Baran. Location: Anza Borrego Desert, California.
“This shot was taken from the hills above, 4 miles east of the dry, desert lake,” says Baran. “Wilderness covered the earth from Dearth Road to the north, at least 40 miles. Anza Borrego Desert is one of my fascinations and has been for more than a decade. It’s just me and my camera and nothing else. Very early wildflowers bloomed around the end of February, as did this grand statue of a cholla cactus.”
